Self-Catering Unit: Laura Vicuna Centre

The Centre is set in the grounds away from the main house, and is ideal for youth groups, such as Clubs (***), Brownies, Scouts and school parties. Ideal for both educational and leisure purposes.

There are 2 dormitories, each with 12 bunk beds, and accommodation for 5 leaders in 2 rooms, one with 2 beds, the other with 3. There are adequate washing, shower and toilet facilities. The well-equipped kitchen, with its large serving counter, opens into a spacious and bright dining room.

The Annex to the Centre, although basic, has 2 large carpeted rooms, one for active games, such as snooker and table tennis, and the other for use as a sitting room.
In addition there is a drying room, handy for wet walking or swimming gear. Heating in the Annex is operated by coin-meter.

A large paddock behind the Annex is available to those using the Centre, as are the rest of the grounds when there is no Retreat taking place in the main house.
