Marian Kearney has returned to the little village of Sitima for a year, to help with education across 17 primary and 2 secondary schools – an enormous undertaking which she finds very exciting. Instead of emailing letters from Malawi she has set up a blog: – and is posting regularly, with photographs. She is working with two charities – Network for a Better World and International Development and Volunteering .

As many parishioners know, one of her main hopes is to help girls live fuller lives, and this is another website she wants us to follow: Days for Girls International

Several members of the parish will be joining Marian for different lengths of time during her year, to help, and to learn for themselves.
